Police are appealing for assistance to locate a US tourist missing in Sydney's CBD.

Bill Huber, aged 69, was last seen about 12.15pm yesterday (Saturday 21 October 2023), in the Queen Victoria Building on George Street.

Family members reported him missing to police when he became separated from them and couldn't be located or contacted.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command have serious concerns for Bill's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 170cm tall, with solid build, and grey hair.

Bill was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, camouflage shorts, black and grey shoes, sunglasses, and a small blue shoulder bag.

Anyone who sees Bill, or believes they know his whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
